Privacy Policy
Effective date: March 20, 2026
1. Who we are
Co-lab (“we,” “us,” “our”) provides AI consulting services and software tools to small and medium-sized businesses. This policy explains how we collect, use, and protect information when you interact with our services, including our lead qualification platform, web forms, and communication channels.
2. Information we collect
Information you provide directly. When you submit a web form, send us a text message, or otherwise contact a business using our platform, we collect the information you share — typically your name, phone number, email address, and a description of what you need help with.
Automatically collected information. We may collect standard technical data such as your IP address, browser type, and referring URL when you visit our web forms. We do not use tracking cookies for advertising.
Conversation data. Messages exchanged through our platform (web chat, SMS, email) are processed by AI systems to qualify your inquiry and route you to the right person. These conversations are stored to provide continuity and improve service quality.
3. How we use your information
- To qualify your inquiry and connect you with the appropriate business or professional
- To send you follow-up messages related to your inquiry via SMS or email
- To notify the business you contacted about your inquiry so they can respond promptly
- To maintain a record of your interaction in the business’s lead pipeline
- To improve our AI qualification and communication systems
4. AI processing
Our platform uses artificial intelligence to understand your inquiry, assess urgency, and generate helpful responses. AI processing is used to assist — not replace — human professionals. The AI does not provide professional advice (legal, financial, medical, or otherwise). All substantive consultations are handled by the qualified professionals at the business you contacted.
5. How we share your information
We share your information with the specific business you contacted through our platform — that is the purpose of the service. We also use the following third-party service providers to operate our platform:
- Twilio — SMS delivery and phone number management
- Google Cloud / Google Sheets — data storage and client-facing lead dashboards
- Vercel — web application hosting
- Neon — database hosting
- AI model providers (such as Anthropic and OpenAI) — conversation processing
We do not sell your personal information. We do not share your information with any party other than the business you contacted and the service providers listed above.
6. Data retention
We retain your information for as long as it is needed to provide services to the business you contacted, typically up to 24 months after your last interaction. You may request deletion of your data at any time by contacting us.
7. Your rights
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information at any time. To opt out of follow-up messages, reply STOP to any SMS we send, or contact us directly. We will honor your request within 30 days.
8. Security
We use industry-standard security measures to protect your data, including encrypted connections (TLS), access controls, and secure infrastructure. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable precautions to safeguard your information.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date.
